The science and art of growing plants
The Oregon State University online horticulture degree covers contemporary real-world issues faced by professional horticulturists. The program includes labs, diagnostics, student-managed projects and field-based problem solving. You will become skilled at finding and synthesizing information in order to deal with the novel situations you will face during your horticultural career.
As part of the major, you will learn the principles and practices associated with horticultural production within the context of plant pathology, pest management, soils, ecology and economics with applications in various horticulture career fields.
